The TTUHSC El Paso libraries supports the campus curriculum by purchasing resources in electronic format, or in print. Print textbooks are acquired either as a purchase or when offered as a donation, especially textbooks that students are expected to purchase for use in a particular course. The library purchases access to electronic resources and multiple copies of print textbooks.
The TTUHSC EP libraries acquisition of textbooks in print is based on faculty suggestions or due to the lack of electronic format availability. Any print textbooks which are listed as a booklist resource for any of the TTUHSC- EP schools are usually placed in reserve or reference and are limited in circulation.
